Coral Princess departs, back on 15th

Four seasons in one day today, as South Mole opens and the Coral Princess departs.

Woohoo! South Mole now open again to cars. Great to see ship-spotters in their cars, cameras at the ready; smelling the salty sea air; watching the changing weather; boats coming and going; and of course the aerial seagull displays.

Out on the Mole, you can get away from it all and spend some downtime away from the madding crowds.

Today there were 4 seasons out on the mole. But the sun came out briefly for Coral Princess’s departure.

She left at 12.30, escorted by the tug, Svitzer Redhead, for a 10-day (now 9-day return cruise). She was unable to leave yesterday due to wild weather with hail stones and gusts reaching 48kph.

She is heading up the Coral Coast to Exmouth, Broome, Kimberley Coast and back to Freo via Geraldton. She will be back in Freo on 15 September.

We wish her and all who sail in her ‘fair weather’.
