The City of Fremantle is home to numerous well loved parks, reserves and green spaces, many of them created as a result of community initiative and action. Wilson Park is opposite South Beach proper at the southern end of South Terrace near the Douro Road roundabout
South Beach Recreation Reserve is a large and very popular, grassed, beachside space.
Parmelia Park on Chester Street is both well-loved and well-used by the local community
Lillydale Park is a tiny community park with things for small kids, near Lilly and Dale Streets.
Gold St Park is a small community park on Francisco St where it intersects with Gold Street
