Well, you could have thought you were back in the late 60s/early 70s, if you were of a certain age – and many attending were – with all the PROTEST discussion at Kidogo Arthouse at Bathers Beach last night, especially with the ageless Jo Vallentine on the Unruly Voices seminar panel on the Right to Protest along with the younger Tanesha Bennell, Marziya Mohammedali and Sophie McNeill. Here’s Jo, speaking at the event, wearing her Difficult Women sash. Tonight is the last night of the three night Unruly Voices event presented by The Right To Protest WA group. Tonight, at 6.30 pm, Dave Johnson and friends will present Songs of Protest: a musical tribute to collective action. So Fremantle!
