The NFTB

Freo Today. 13 January 2026. As everyone knows, the OFTB – the Old Fremantle Traffic Bridge – before long, later this year, will be no longer, and the NFTB – the New Fremantle Traffic Bridge – will then grace the entrance across the Derbarl Yerrigan into and out of Freo. It is going to be quite something, the NFTB, and will push the Stirling Bridge into the shadows, showing it up as a mere bridge, an unremarkable bridge, hardly a bridge.
