Shiny new barrier rail fence

Freo Today. 18 February 2023. We love how the container trains snake their way through Freo at night and during the day. You can always count on them to interrupt a concert or wedding at Kidogo at a magic moment or the climax of your tall story at Chalky’s. If you’ve been wondering what all the high, moveable fencing near the barrier train fence is all about, well here’s the answer. Much of the barrier rail fence is in the process of being replaced with a shiny new barrier fence for a good part of the way through central Freo. Here’s our pic of the work taken yesterday near Fishing Boat Harbour and Esplanade Park.
