Freo Today. 14 October 2023. The Voice Referendum Day. A huge day for Australia in the Constitutional scheme of things. The chance to properly recognise Australia’s First Nations’ peoples for the first time since European settlement of Australia starting in 1788 in the East, and 1829 here in Walyalup Fremantle. In Freo, support for the YES case is strong, as you can tell from the smiles of Lauren and Patrick, two of the wonderful Freo YES volunteers.
