Freo Today. 30 June 2020. Last chance for a tax deduction, and another jewel in the crown. Speaking of jewels in the crown, this is Christ The King Catholic Church, Beaconsfield. Such a landmark on the top of Mount Beacy since 1936. How was it that the early Catholics seized all the hilltops for their churches? One can only assume they had more enterprising Irish-Catholic real estate agents on the lookout for them!
