Freo Today. 10 March 2025. So much happening in Freo. A sense of urgency after the State elections vibe. Probably because everyone knows it’s only 289 days until Christmas. This building in Arundel Street, Freo, however, seems oblivious to all that. Just as it’s been oblivious to most things transpiring in Fremantle since being constructed in around 1970, give or take a few years. Of the building, the Heritage Council of WA says: ‘The existing development on the site has little significance’. That’s a bit rough. Perhaps they could have said: ‘Arundel Court. Solid, reliable, early-70s flats’.
