The 2025 Revo Fitness Fremantle Running Festival got underway in central Freo today at 6.15 am in perfect sunny, dry conditions.

Organised by the West Australian Marathon Club, a portion of the proceeds are dedicated to Operation Sunshine.
Runners – a couple thousand of them – took part in the event, running in a range of events: the challenging half marathon, a 10 km run, and a scenic 5 km run.

The half marathon relay was also back for the third year! The relay comprises three legs: the first leg at 10.1km and the subsequent 2nd and 3rd legs each covering 5.5km.
Fremantle Shipping News caught a number of the runners at the most southerly point, just as they approached the Capo D’Orlando turn on Marine Terrace.
At that spot the runners found themselves encouraged to keep on joggin’ to the foot tapping, tuneful songs of accomplished singer/guitarist, Jaylee.
Freo residents roundabout enjoyed the running festival and the concert!
Here’s a gallery of some of what came by at around 8 am!
