An announcement this morning from the Kate Hulett for Canberra campaign confirms that Ms Hulett has successfully renounced her British citizenship and is now just an Aussie.
As a result Ms Hulett is free to nominate as a candidate in the upcoming Federal election for the electorate of Fremantle.
Ms Hulett said she will now lodge her Federal election nomination papers immediately.
So, the saga is over and now it’s back to ‘normal’ electioneering.
Keep an eye out for the candidates’ debate at Notre Dame University, Tannock Hall, on 15 April at 6.30 pm
