Let the Music Play, Let your Feet Dance, Let’s bring back the Fairbridge Festival

Fairbridge Festival organisers FolkWorld in collaboration with 360 Artist Logistics and children’s cancer charity Little Folk are showcasing some of the festival’s favourite performers this Friday, October 18 at Mojo’s in North Fremantle.

The eclectic triple bill event features some fantastic musical talent.

Grace Barbé hails from the Seychelles and fuses tropical rhythms with psychedelic rock, afrobeat, reggae and pop. Don’t miss a chance to catch this sixteen-time WAM award winner as she makes her way to the top.

Legendary folk and country music band the Mucky Duck Bush Band will transform the main-stage at Mojos into a full-blown bush dance.

Sgt Hulka is a sparkly force that can’t help but command your attention, blending vintage sounds with contemporary attitude.

The event is a fundraiser for stakeholders affected by the cancellation of the 2024 Fairbridge Festival, and to build a reserve for future events. The organisers and performers are donating their time, together with support from Mojos and Moshtix to help bring back the return of the Fairbridge Festival.

The music will start your feet tapping, next you will be dancing, feeling free and wishing you were under the stars!

The show starts at 7.30 pm.

For those who cannot attend the show, but would like to support the fundraising event by making a (tax deductible) donation: go to Folkworld’s website.
