At 6.30pm on Monday, 8 July 2024, in the Council Chambers (level 1) Walyalup Civic Centre, Fremantle (right next to the Fremantle Town Hall), Rhys Powell, the Manager of Community Engagement at Uniting WA, will speak about his work in foster care, mental health, homelessness and housing support throughout Perth and the Great Southern Region.
Soroptimist International Fremantle, who have made the event possible, are pleased to invite all interested members of the public to attend the free talk.
Soroptimist International Fremantle, an advocacy and global service group for women and children, run many programs including the I-Spy Quilting programme for foster children and children in crisis accommodation, which will be featured before Rhys Powell speaks.
As an added attraction, supper will be served after the talk.
