This morning, as we awoke here in the West of Australia, the news was breaking on all major news sites in the so-called Hush-Money Case that TRUMP GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS. In this podcast, the Shipping News’ editor, Michael Barker asks the the Prof what Trump’s conviction on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in a case stemming from a payment that silenced a porn star means in the context of the 2024 Presidential election race. Will it weaken support for Trump, or paradoxically increase it? Will he go the jail? Will he appeal? So many questions.

Martin Drum is the Executive Dean for the Faculty of Arts, Sciences, Business and Law and Professor of Politics and International Relations at the University of Notre Dame Australia, a frequenter of Fremantle, and a well know political pundit.
