VESSEL DETAILS More 56-foot sailing vessel, built in India

The INVS Tarini is an Indian naval sailing vessel circumnavigating the world with an all women crew of six Indian Navy officers.

The voyage is part of Project ‘Navika Sagar Parikrama’, the first ever attempt by Indian women to sail around the globe.

The vessel has covered 4,800 nautical miles since departing Goa on 10 September and will depart Fremantle for Lyttleton (New Zealand) on 5 November before heading to Port Stanley in the Falkland Islands and then on to Cape Town.
