World Environment Day

Freo Today. 6 June 2026. Yesterday, 5 June, was World Environment Day. Indeed, in some parts of our world, it is still World Environment Day! World Environment Day is celebrated globally on June 5 to encourage worldwide awareness and action for environmental protection. Established by the United Nations and led by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) since 1974, it serves as the largest international platform for public environmental outreach, involving millions of people across more than 100 countries.
