Under watchful eyes! MV Bahijah (re)arrives in Freo

Freo Today. 1 February 2024. The livestock carrier MV Bahijah has (re)arrived in Fremantle. She came alongside in the wee hours undercover of darkness. But as Dawn broke she found herself next to another livestock carrier, Jawan, in a nearly deserted inner harbour and under the watchful eyes of a Channel 9 cameraman and a solitary fisherman – and, of course, the Shipping News’ eye-witness reporter on the spot!
