The Living Room

Freo Today. 29 August 2026. Gayle O’Leary, our Arts Editor, says that every time she wanders through the South Terrace Piazza in central Freo, she finds something new. And, she adds, the place is so dynamic and buzzing with people, it’s a joy to see. On top of all that, this month and next, this space – unit 19 – will feature The Living Room where visitors are invited to dance, drink tea and play cards, watch docos, and make friends. Sounds like a thing. You might want to try it out over this weekend rather than interminably discuss the results in Secret Harbour!
