So lovely to see a street artist at work!

Freo Today. 23 May 2024. The things you see when you least expect it. An artist up a ‘ladder’, well more a commercial, all-purpose lift actually – every household should have one – painting an external wall yesterday at the corner of South Terrace and Nelson Street, South Fremantle. Upon further inquiry the painter was found to be Lora Flora who, the last time the Shipping News chatted with her was enjoying the opening of her fab exhibition, with Jamie McWilliam, called Meet Me In The Background. So what was Lora Flora painting here? You’ve guessed it – a couple red-tail black cockatoos. Call by South Freo soon to see the finished wall. So lovely to see a street artist at work!
