Illyarrie, the red-capped gum, is in flower everwhere!

Freo Today. 4 April 2023. So, we’re into April and May, the Noongar season of Djeran. Djeran brings with it cooler nights, light breezes and the presence of dew on the plants in the early mornings. Suddenly, Illyarrie, the red-capped gum, is in flower everywhere. Nice pic taken by Jean Hudson on her North Freo river walk.
