Fidelio

Freo Today. 11 June 2026. Here’s Fidelio, one of the distinctive RO-ROs in the Wallenius Wilhelmsen fleet, entering Freo Harbour between rain showers on Tuesday at 10 am. In from Melbourne and now on her way to Singapore. She’s sailing under the flag of Sweden. Her length overall is 227.8 metres and her width is 32.29 metres. Named after the opera Fidelio, in turn based on a true story from the French Revolution about a wife rescuing her imprisoned husband by disguising herself as a man to infiltrate the prison.
