Earth Day 2024

Freo Today. 22 April 2024. 🌎 Earth Day 2024. The theme this year is Planet vs. Plastics, which aims to increase public awareness of the detrimental effects that plastics pollution has on both human and environmental health. Here’s Freo Port this morning, nearly full. From left, Pacific Explorer, Singapore, APL Boston, COSCO Rotterdam. Just out of view to far left, BBC Dart, and to the far right, Pacific Innovation. We’re sure no plastics pollution will find its way into the marine environment from these upstanding marine vessels. Grey skies continue to hint at rain, but not yet on the radar.
