The Winter Solstice Sunrise – Beautiful!

Freo Today. 22 June 2024. Yesterday morning all around Freo folk were dumbstruck by a sensational sunrise. Jean Hudson captured it from North Fremantle and commented: ‘I got up to witness the Winter Solstice Sunrise – I always do, it’s the pagan part of me! The Winter Solstice encapsulates the essence of balance. As the longest night of the year, it urges us to honour the darkness that shrouds us. The winter solstice teaches us about resilience and hope in the face of darkness.’ Beautiful!
