A painterly mackerel sky – and the Swan Yacht Club

Freo Today. 10 April 2024. Amazing evening skies continue. Well into Civil Twilight. Civil twilight is the brightest of the 3 twilight phases. The Sun is just below the horizon, so there is generally enough natural light to carry out most outdoor activities. As when Jean Hudson pointed her camera upstream the Derbal Yerrigan early last evening from North Freo to capture this painterly mackerel sky – and the Swan Yacht Club.
