Paul Wranitzky was one of the most highly regarded musicians in Europe in his time. However today he is all but forgotten, overshadowed by his contemporaries and friends Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. This weekend, Fremantle Chamber Orchestra presents his sunny, optimistic and last (out of 44) Symphony Op52.
Wranitzky’s Symphony is the perfect lead into Beethoven’s magnificent 3rd Piano Concerto featuring pianist James Dekleva, quarter finalist for the International Beethoven Piano Competition Vienna 2021.
With the brilliant John Keene conducting FCO, each concert promises to be another grand FCO listening experience.
Get along and enjoy the music.
