The Writers Weekend is a non stop talk fest at the Fremantle Arts Centre as part of the Perth Frestival. And last night, who could possibly not attend crime fiction writer Jane Harper being interviewed by Dervla McTiernan fellow crime fiction writer?

Well, the answer is, the folk who simply could not resist Fremantle Ports’ big splash at the Port last night, the Slip Street Carnavale!

What a time folk had down at the Port. Great music. Fab costumes. Dancers to die for. People enjoying themselves. And all on a perfect Freo late summer’s night.
