Gold St Park is a small community park on Francisco St where it intersects with Gold Street. The park was created in the 1970s as a result of community action. The local community again banded together in 2015 to see the park upgraded with landscaping, a grassed area and great kids swings. Neighbours regularly meet and socialise together in the park, with Friends of Gold Park maintaining their own Facebook page.
The easiest access though is by a very short walk up Gold Street from South Terrace past some lovely South Fremantle cottages. This is good place for kids to play and their carers to relax after a meal or coffee at the nearby cafes on South Terrace. You can also get to Gold Park by catching the Blue Cat bus.
