Freo Today. 3 July 2025. Yesterday we posted our story on the new social housing project in Emplacement Parade, North Coogee. Folk have been insisting ‘North Coogee’ in the vicinity of the project and west to the coast near South Beach should be renamed ‘South Beach’. We reached out to President Donald J Trump, a well known place name aficionado, to get his take on the question. Before we knew it the President sent through this Executive Order. Wow, the power of the pen!
