Freo Today. 19 June 2021. Calm before the storm. And look what we have for you here, courtesy of our eagle-eyed, roving reporter Jean Hudson, out on her morning ride, a sneak peek at the construction of the new Freo bike path from Mossie Park train stop to North Freo train stop. It will snake behind Beehive Montessori School, under Leighton Bridge all the way to North Freo, with fabulous ocean views all the way. Love it. One imagines it’s all down to the persuasive powers of the highly influential Minister for Transport, Planning and Ports, ‘Czarina’ Rita Saffioti. Thanks!
