SNAP OF THE YEAR! Only in an opera…

Freo Today. 8 June 2022. Our Jean Hudson has just snapped the SNAP OF THE YEAR – the Wallenius Wilhelmsen line’s Traviata stranded on the Fremantle Rail Bridge across the Swan River/Derbarl Yerrigan. WW have named so many of their vehicle carriers, or RO-ROs as they are affectionately called, after operas – Traviata, and Nabucco that was in Port the other day, included – that it should not surprise anyone to discover that one of them has decided to upstage the other vessels in Port and lodge herself theatrically on the rail bridge. The hard part, of course, is getting down again. But prima donnas have never had to worry themselves about such practical things!
