Freo Today. 17 April 2020, 12.10 pm. The Proclamation Tree. Corner Queen Victoria Street and Parry Street, Freo. Planted in 1890 on Trafalgar Day, to mark the grant of responsible government to Western Australia. It’s seen a bit between now and then. And now covid. (You know trees do sense things, don’t you?) But plainly this MBF is taking it all in his/her stride.
