Modi R at work

Freo today 26 June 2025. Modi R in Fremantle Harbour yesterday. She’s a Hopper  Dredger with a shallow draft of 3.8 m and can dredge to 28m. Built in 1994 and sailing under the flag of Denmark. 🇩🇰. She is named after Modi, who is the son of Thor and Sif. In Nordic mythology Modi takes over Thor’s hammer after his death. Good get by Jean Hudson.
