Don’t Miss ‘Living Sculptures – How the Birds got their Colours ‘

Freo Today. 20 April. Easter and the Fremantle International Street Arts Festival are well underway. Our Jean Hudson caught the Day 1 acts and says ‘Don’t miss Living Sculptures – How the Birds got their Colours . It’s going to be the show everyone is talking about!’ Jean was spellbound by this Queensland troupe who fused traditional First Nations dance, storytelling and contemporary circus. It’s a spectacular Indigenous-lead Dreamtime re-imagining. A collaboration between Arc Circus and Luther Caro and his team from Yugambeh Aboriginal Dancers. The show tells a significant Dreamtime story via a living breathing work of art. The grace and strength of the performers is amazing. There are 6 remaining shows to choose from including Sunday 3pm and 5pm, and Monday 2pm and 4pm – all at Esplanade Park pitch.
