Donkey and Elephant face off this morning…

Freo Today. 28 June 2024. As much as many/most of us would probably prefer to occupy ourselves in other ways this morning, Freo time, probably many/most of us won’t be able to help sneaking a look at our TV screens to see how the two old blokes, Biden and Trump, are doing in the first 2024 US Presidential debate starting at 9 am Freo time (9 pm Atlanta, US time yesterday, 27 June). The most interesting thing, perhaps, is why the Democrats are the Donkey and the Republicans the Elephant. Btw, folks, keep a lookout for our regular Friday political podcast, View from the Round House with Martin Drum, which later today will feature the debate.
