Bon voyage, Xavier!

Freo Today. 29 June 2023. Well, just 3 weeks ago Xavier Doerr and his yacht GCCM limped into Fremantle Sailing Club in the early hours of the morning assisted by a Club rescue boat after being battered about by heavy seas off the Shipwreck Coast. How this came to be was quite a story. 3 weeks later, with just about everything on GCCM having been pulled out and replaced or repaired, Xavier is set to depart Freo and, as always planned, continue his single-handed sail anti-clockwise around Australia back to the Gold Coast.
