And a ‘swingin’ hot spot’?

Freo Today. 4 November 2022. Joni Mitchell famously sang, ‘They paved paradise, put up a parking lot; With a pink hotel, a boutique, and a swingin’ hot spot’. Well, this wasn’t quite a paradise before the old bricks and mortar went, but we do now have a parking lot, temporary and in part; maybe a pink hotel to come; a boutique for sure, we’d say; and possibly even, if we’re lucky, a swingin’ hot spot! In the meantime the new, long view of Fremantle Railway Station is a bonus, especially at night.
