A Celebratory Shot!

Freo Today. 16 September 2021. Yesterday, at 1 pm, the Fremantle Ports Harbour Master, Captain Savio Fernandes, fired the cannon at the Round House to celebrate the continuing relationship between Fremantle Ports and the Fremantle Volunteer Heritage Guides Association. The former keep the port operational and the latter keep we the people so well informed about the port’s history and its present. Deanna Shanahan got this nice photograph of the event. Hopefully not too many inner city residents were awoken or made fearful!
