Tønsberg, a ship and a city!

Freo Today. 22 November 2022. The Wilhelmsen line’s Tønsberg leaving  Fremantle yesterday evening in the setting sun. A vehicle carrier – or Ro-Ro – built in 2011, she currently sails under the flag of Malta and is en route to Melbourne. Her name? Well, Tønsberg, a little south of Oslo, is generally regarded as the oldest city in Norway, founded by Vikings in the 9th century. So, there you go!
